Is there a way to correct a name before the state books and brackets are completed ?

135lb Class B lists Austin Allbaugh it should be Jake .

My mom actually does the calligraphy writing on the state championship brackets for class B and C. I will let her know of the error.

The NSAA goes by the official name on the birth certificate. Maybe his real name is Austin but they call him Jake?

Since the wrestling people at NSAA have changed this year, I'm not 100% sure of who to contact, but I would start with dboysen@nsaahome.org Though I know he's not in charge of the State tourney this year, he's probably a place to start.

I believe you are right when you say they go by the name on birth certificates Ross. That's how many names were at districts this weekend, David instead of Dave, Michael instead of Mike, etc etc.

The name spelling is from the District entries. Coaches have been told in the past to check all spelling because that is what will be in the state program.
