i was wondering were both of these wrestlers are from.

Willie is a three time qualifier, 2 time medalist(3rd his soph, 1st last year) from Mitchell. Dante will be freshman and is from Kearney.

Can anyone confirm that these two are enrolled at GI?

Correction! Willie will be starting school in Bluffs tomorrow morning due to some the stupidity of a certain school. Some people dont appreciate what they have until its gone. Look out Class B!

Does that mean he will be eligible on Feb 4th to wrestle at one meet before districts, after his 90 days........... or will he be eligible immediately?

they moved to scottsbluff so he will be eligible right away

he is wrestling 160 for scottsbluff. willie didnt weigh 171 last year and was in the room the other night and doesnt even weigh 171 now

Cornfed - what does the roster look like so far for Bluffs?

we arent sure of a few kids yet. I know the few that are club wrestling. adams at 112, nation at 135, rojas at 140, and willie at 160. i know hessler was going 119 or 125. ive heard patrick at 189 but i havent heard that from him. we dont know what everyone else is weighing. we have a meeting tonight so maybe that will shed some light.

Ya, too bad for Mitchell wrestling!! I was looking forward to Mitchell making another run at a State Title this year. Losing a great coach that pretty much started these Mitchell kids on their winning way and a great wrestler is a real shame. Too bad things could not be worked out there. Hope the rest of these Mitchell kids will keep their chins up, and know that Willie leaving was not their fault. Good luck Willie, you know how we feel about this.
