State Qualifier Registered: October 16, 2005 Posts: 1077 | Prep went 2-4 with 2 losses coming in duals they won 6 of the 14 matches and it could've gone either way. |
Rookie Registered: February 12, 2006 Posts: 119 | The only problem with Prep losing 8/14 is that 6 or 7 were by fall, automatically making it impossible for them to win. |
Junior High Registered: October 06, 2003 Posts: 510 | http://www.clashmn.org/results/Clash6/B8M5.htm In the 39-34 match that I looked up. Creighton Prep has as many falls as they gave up. CP scored 4 pins and wins a 5th by default, and lost 5 by falls. That 5 matches on both sides with 6 points; 30-30. That's a wash in my book. It came down to decisions in that match. And the decisions went 3-1 to Punahoe. On 7-3, 8-4, 5-3 scores; with CP winning a major decision 17-5. So, the decision points were 9-4 in favor of Punahoe. So ... at least in that match; it looks like it could have gone either way. |
State Qualifier Registered: October 16, 2005 Posts: 1077 | Patrick Rollins went 6-0. Not sure about anyone else on the team. As for the falls, it can still go either way. A Prep wrestler could've been winning the match when he got caught and pinned. Of course, it goes both ways for the matches Prep got a pin. This message has been edited.
