Does anyone know if this is going to be televised? I know that in the past it has been on TV when it was in Omaha. My brother has a wrestling meet during the day and there is no way I can make it to Omaha in time for the dual. GO LOPERS!!!!

They split the duals at National Duals, so Im guessing that coach will go with whoever he feels is wrestling best. I went with taylor may because that is who wrestled agaisnt UNO at national Duals, although keenan has been varsity the last two duals, so we'll see.

May was pinned by Taplin at the National Duals and that could play a part as well.

The new ranking just came out, so you may want to edit your previous post. Meneely went to #1 and Farrell went to #3, and their are others. UNK is #1 and UNO is #2. The new rankings are on themat.com. Kearney has someone ranked in every weight except 165 & 174. Uno has 3 unranked 133, 157 & 184. That is incredible!

UNO took a hit with Oviatt going down to a knee injury Wednesday. OWH article states he won't be back for the season. Boehm is being pulled from his redshirt.

I don't know if anyone else watched the UNO dual on TV tonight, but I'm going to be very upset if Vincentini refs the UNO vs UNK dual. Even though Augsburg is winning the dual at this point, Vincentini is doing a mediocre job at best. I think he has forgot this is college and not high school. Jeez, stick to reffing the high school kids on saturday.

I wouldn't say he is a bad offical. He is just a hommer of for UNO. Against Augsburg he gave UNO the favorable call every chance he got. But I wasn't surprised. Nothing new. It will happen against UNK also. The beauty of the home field.

BAM got it right. He is good official but a BIG TIME homer. The worst I have ever seen as far as that goes. Does anyone remember the match last year (it was televised) where Allibone was done to the Mankato kid and the Mankato kid is chasing Allibone all over and Vincentini dinged the Mankato kid to tie things up.

He has always done what he could to make sure that UNO has the best opportunity to win.

I think that is absolutely ridiculous to let him referee UNO's duals. I am embarrassed for the wrestlers and coaches when I watch him screw over team after team that comes here to wrestle.

In my opinion he ruins the integrity of the sport when he makes call after call to support UNO. These young men work too hard to have an obviously biased official doing everything that he can to help determine the outcome of these close matches.

You Know, I did see that match that you are referring to last year and it was a disgrace to the sport and an insult to Mankato. However, I am never surprised as I have seen Vincentini do this for as long as I can remember.

It just blows my mind why Coach Denney and his staff would continually support him as their home referee. I am a fan of UNO wrestling and what for the most part is a program that is run with integrity and class. They are not the 3 time defending national champions for nothing. They certainly do not need to stoop to having a "homer" referee to be successful.
