Entries close at 10:00 am Central Time on Thursday March 18, 2010. Any edits or new lineups after that won't be counted!

Here's the rules!

The Set-up:

1. Each person will choose 10 wrestlers, one for each weight class.
2. You may choose up to 3 wrestlers that are seeded in the top 3.
3. You may choose up to 2 wrestlers from a single team.
4. NEW FOR 2009! You may choose up to 4 wrestlers from the same conference. But the total of Big 10 and Big 12 wrestlers cannot exceed 7 total wrestlers.
5. You may choose a wildcard (11th wrestler) from any conference. The wild card cannot be a top 8 seeded wrestler!!

Example: Say I choose 2 wrestlers from Minnesota; I can choose 2 additional wrestler from the big 10. i.e. Michigan, Wisconsin etc. After I’ve picked a wrestler from each weight, for a total of 10, I choose a wrestler from Iowa as my wildcard. The only stipulations on the wildcard is that he cannot be seeded in the top 8 or break rule 3. Rule 4 does not apply to the wildcard selection. This will now give me a total of 11 wrestlers on my team and all will be counted in the team scoring.

Team Scoring:

Pin 2 pts
T. Fall 1.5 pts
Major 1 pt

Championship bracket 2 pts advancement
Consolation bracket 1 pt advancement

1st 20 points
2nd 16 points
3rd 12 points
4th 9 points
5th 7 points
6th 5 points
7th 3 points
8th 1 point

Bonus of 15 points for an unseeded wrestler on your team that makes All-American.

Gonna be a little different keeping track of things while in Omaha!

From what I'm seeing lately, looks like the brackets will be out tomorrow night about 6:00 Central!

So I might even get some work done next week if I don't have to wait until Monday?!

Printable brackets out at 6:00 central. They have a "video" feed of each weight class here if you want to watch.

Koehnlein got in!!!

Sorry Big D, now you have 5 extra days to research, tweak your selections, research some more then make a final change just before wrestling starts next Thursday! You just as well plan on not getting anything done for the next 8 days!!!

Holy smokes!

7 in already? Does this mean we are going by the same rules as we did last year? Or do they need tweaked (rules discussion was the original intent of this thread anyhoo)?

If we do change, those that have already posted their picks can edit the original post if need be!

Alrighty then! We'll go with the rules posted in the first post of this thread.

If everyone would do me a favor and put in the weight of your wildcard that will make things much simpler!

Thanks!

Is this the place you want our teams posted or are you going to start another thread?
