With class B and C both having one district getting pushed to a one day tournament, does anyone know about what time the state brackets will come out? Thanks.

I guess I shoulda explained myself better, alot of people were saying how those meets would not get over until midnight, so will the bracket people stay up waiting for that, or will they not be out until the morning? I guess i am looking for what happened in 2001 if anyone remembers.

They usually stay up and do them so it could be late tonite or tomorrow morning just depends on when those districts are over. I'll check around 10 pm. and if they're not up, I'm hittin the rack, I'm shot.

If I remember right in 2001 they posted that night what formula would go with each weight but they did not actually put the pairings up till the next morning since it was late. So, if they do that again I volunteer you to go through and type them up quick.

Usually it's about an hour after the last district gets posted before they post the pairings. I remember having to sit by the 'puter and hitting refresh over...and over...and over...while waiting for them.

I'm just glad all the districts are getting done today. That year we had to wait for a Class A district really sucked.

B2 at Gretna finished at about 6:00 PM. And, by the way, we had one of those bad situations where a wrestler beat another wrestler in the early rounds, then got beat later. Both wrestlers worked their way back to the consolation finals and the wrestler who won the first match had to forfeit to the one he beat because it would have been his 6th match. I'm glad we got away from the old "pull through" system but this needs to be corrected.

Are the three bracket formulas posted anywhere?

They won't post them until the districts are all in the bag. Got two to go as of right now.

Page 22 was what I was looking for.

I stopped by A-2 today after C-3 finished up, and they had said that the finals weren't going to start till 6:30. I would assume the results should be posted soon...

That's right...forgot Grand Island's district started later than the others.

A person who answered the phone at the C-2 in W/P said that they don't expect the finals there to be done much before 10 p.m. She did NOT sound like she was the most reliable of sources, but that is the info she gave!

I really hope that is not the truth!

We all know that anyone who knows anything at all about wrestling will not be sitting in the office answering the phone while matches are going on!
