Congrat to Huggins, the Golden Gophers and all the Div. I wrestlers. I personally have not had so much fun since watching boxing in the 50's with my Dad, "hit with the right, hit him with the right". (Who you cheering for Dad?)

This weekend has been a great finale to another exciting wrestling season. High school finals with HB, Div. II live and personal, DI with Red Rocker and my friends. Thank you, each and every one.

Next week, I pack up the tepee and move north to the Loup River country for the summer. (I am a polish pawnee indian, after all.) See ya'll next winter for high school wrestling. Diminutive Warrior, ya finished last, but glad to have ya. It's not like you had a lot of spare time to scout a fantasy wrestling team. Keep your butt low. I (and your friends on this site) will be thinking about you. And last but not least, "Way to go Mrs. Storm!"

Love ya' all.

It was great seeing the finals on ESPN tonight. Wish I could have seen the semis, too. Congrats to the All-Americans!

Sorry TK. I'm in the process of filling out the truck driver school application I found on a match book cover at the local bar. I've given that voodoo stuff up as a lost cause. Check your horoscope in tomorrow's OWH. No wrestling news, but great 'scopes & Ann Landers (long dead) columns to boot. Hope you survive.
Oh! And, the surgeon general has determined that reading this post may be hazardous to your health. Do not continue if you are pregnant or nursing a young, potential wrestling prospect.

Hendricks got turned by Perry in the third period. Perry wrestled a great match. Askren was in a tight match before a scramble gave him a takedown and backpoints. I think the final was 8-2 maybe. 184 Herbert dominated Varner. 97 went to OT with Glen winning. He earned it. Konrad pushed his guy all over the place before tossing him to his back and pinning him.

174#: Askren def. Gavin, 7-2
184#: Herbert def. Varner 6-1
197#: Glenn def. Backes, 6-4
285#: Konrad pinned Anspach in 1:53

You might check for match summaries on the Intermat website.
