NCAA Champion Registered: February 03, 2003 Posts: 2006 | Nebraska USA wrestling has created a results page within our website for Nebraska High School Wrestling. http://www.nebraskausawrestlin...ghschoolresults.html It will be much like “submitting a tournament on a tournament calendar”. There will be clickable link that is labeled “High School results”; a page will open to a form. On that form you list the “Date”, Tournament name and then the results can be done by one of the following: 1) Since most tournaments are software driven, they would have the ability to print the final results as PDF. That file would contain all 14 weight classes with full results. This file can then be uploaded by clicking “browse” and adding the file, much like adding an attachment to an email. If the tournament uses trackwrestling or posts the results on their school website then the URL can be pasted on a line to link to the results. 2) If the tournament does not have the PDF ability then they could print the final weight brackets and scan each one. Depending on the capability of the scanner and its software, it may be able to scan to a PDF and then we are back to item 1 for uploading results. If not, they can simply email the results to alphasurveying@qwestoffice.net and we will get it added for them. 3) They can also fax the final weight bracket results to 402-685-6944 fax and then we will take the necessary steps to get them in electronic format. 4) Finally, You can just simply type in or copy/paste the medal round results, by weight class, and then we will convert those partial results to an electronic format for posting on the results page. If you have the results in a word document of spreadsheet of some sort then please refer to item number 1 and send that file. We can do conversions from there. We would really urge everyone to take the time to send in results. The full results are the nicest but whatever you are able to do would be great. This would actually be a great job for your stats keeper/assistants On another note, Nebraska USA Wrestling will have a High School tournament calendar. Here in Nebraska we do not currently have a HS wrestling calendar. The NSAA has events list by team on their website but what tournaments are going on each weekend and the teams that are invited are not readily available. There will be a HS tournament calendar link on the main page of the website. Once you click on that link you will be able to add a Date, Tournament name, Invited teams and even a flier or URL if you have one set up. You can do the same thing for your duals. Nebraska USA is asking the tournament hosts and dual hosts to take the time to set these up. If we all work together on this there really wouldn’t be much for each school to do. Nebraska USA has downloaded the excel file from NSAA and because of the configuration of how it comes in….makes it a sorting nightmare. Please consider adding your tournament and duals to the HS tournament calendar on our website as this will be great for the fans when researching tournaments to attend. Again, This would be a great job for your stats keeper/assistants . Good luck with your upcoming season. NCAA Champion Registered: February 03, 2003 Posts: 2006 | Update. There will not be a place to do manual entry of results. We do have the ability to accept any type of document, so if you were planning on typing results in manually just do so in any type of word document and then attach and click submit. We will accept, word, notepad, word pad, pdf, txt, asc...any type of text file. Always remember you can also fax the 14 final bracket sheets to 402-685-6944 if you don't have electronic format. Thanks everyone. |

Was worried you'd been kidnapped by gypsies and forced to watch LeBron James championship highlights 24 hours a day. What's goin' on? "Energy Flows Where Attention Goes" -- James Arthur Ray |

There might be some hurt feelings out of the deal but that's life. It wouldn't be the first time things have been divided up when it comes to wrestling in the state. |
