Rookie Registered: August 21, 2005 Posts: 54 | the number of rated wrestlers isnt a good indicator of how tough the district....for instance, millard south has something like 11 rated wrestlers, and that makes up more than a third of their district. this means that one rated MS wrestler is garunteed not to wrestle 10 of the other rated ones because they are in different classes. also, it would be a more accurate indicator if the weight by wiehgt breakdown of the number of rated wrestlers was given...just my two cents |

I think you are correct by the LJS rankings, the ones i went by were the last hukermat rankings so they have probably changes, but thanks for the update. All wrestlers work hard, but the ones that know they have went that exta inch, really know the true meaning of pain. -NpNg |

Rookie Registered: August 21, 2005 Posts: 54 | if the top wrestlers of each class wrestled...A would dominate for the most part...minus some skutt wrestlers...and you really can't deny that..who in class b,c, or d would take down the likes of mccoy, dominguez, vacanti, denson, bridgeford, washington, rodriguez, perkins, scheerer, switzer, marcum, and i am sure i missed some |
Rookie Registered: January 08, 2003 Posts: 198 | To MidWestWrest, If you have a son wrestling, I'll assume I'm talking to an adult. It's all perspective and it will always be something proud to say that you were a state qualifier. You want tough, move to Ohio where they only have 3 divisions, a 16 man sectional, 16 man district, then a 16 man state bracket. Many state qualifiers in Nebraska wouldn't make varsity in Ohio. 4 divisions is the path Nebraska took, so accept it and quit berating wrestlers and their records. Move to a state where you feel your son can be proud to say he was a state qualifier. I apologize, but I'm just tired of hearing the same old crap about class A around this time each year. |
