Does anyone know the records which were broken?
I think that Frazier of McCook set a career win mark. Is that right? what is the new total?
I also believe someone had about 45 wins...is that right? If so he set a new season win record as well.
Any other records broken?
The NSAA record site was last updated Dec 2002.

Hey guys, I keep the state records for Nebraska in Wrestling. I submit all verified records to the state and they update about twice a year. They will likely update again this spring or summer. my email is ddenson@hotmail.com

i thought i remembered that you were the one who kept track
The reason I have been asking is that I make a yearbook for the wrestlers and was hoping to update the State Records Page.

Grapplinman - I believe Lincoln East tied the State Tournament Pin Record of 19 this year for Class A and All-Class (with Kearney 1998).

Lincoln Northeast broke the class A pin record this year, but i'm not sure what it was, or what they broke it with.

Most injuries caused by bleachers and tabels at one tournament! (something has got to be done for next year even if we remain in Devaney)

Most empty seats during the friday night session, caused by the new ticket policy and old fire regulations!

Sorry Shannon--I couldn't resist.

Congrads to Rushville on achieving their 3rd straight title, and on achieving so much and on setting new state records.....
I think their new record of 290 pins during the season will be there for a very long time.. Thats an amazing record.. Thats an average of almost 21 pins per wrestler at each weight..

Alright Storm you started it...

Most illegal mats in one tournament.

Most crowded area for coaches and wrestlers.

Most stairs to climb to the Coach's "hospitality room".

Slowest opening of the gates for the semis.

Yet the greatest show on earth Big Grin

i have to ask if there is such a record? Because i think that Travis Leichti from burke had to be close to it if there was a takedon record for freshmen because after looking at the takedown this year he did have the most out of all the freshman this year by a far shoot just because like mccoy and weidaman where not wrestling all season But leichti did have the most so i was wondering if that was a record and if it was broken
