I'd like to say this will settle the score on 1997's split title (which the AP foolishly gave to Michigan)...but neither program is at their 1997 level (although Michigan is closer).

You forgot one thing...

Athletic director
Michigan -- Stable, stand-up guy who has overall program's best interest in mind when he makes coaching changes...doesn't fire football coach for perceived slides toward "mediocrity."
Nebraska -- Snake-oil salesman who couldn't spell "truth" if you spotted him each of the consonants.

Advantage...Michigan.

Wow I tell ya, some of you guys......Why don't we just elect Osborne governor and make him coach again so some of you guys will be happy. Or lets try to resurrect Devaney and make him AD again. Nebraska wins 27-24...

We can do that for Osborne, but it won't help the football situation out any. Both football coach and governor are full-time jobs. Can you imagine Dave Henieman as football coach OR Bill Callahan as governor? Isn't it bad enough that they are in their CURRENT positions???

And you don't want to resurrect Devaney...Pedersen would just fire him, anyway.

Here's to a Husker win, in spite of it all.

Man its a good thing the AD doesn't coach. You think Callahan has it bad? Carr is the antichrist up in Ann Arbor.

I am afraid Nebraska will get it handed to them by Michigan. Remember, we are playing on the road. The only decent road game NU has had all year was CU. I am not going to let the Colorado game influence my opinion. Remember Texas????
I hope I am wrong but I cannot get too excited!!!
