Please help stop partisan shills like Dan Rather from practicing yellow journalism. Rather is a disgrace to the country and the media profession.

The only time I've watched CBS in the last several years was if there was a game on I wanted to see.

I did watch last Friday to see Blather squirm in his shoes over this latest debacle.

He's toast...

If you're not watching the Fox News Channel, you're watching yellow journalism all across the board.

CBS is the worst, followed closely by CNN. ABC and NBC are barely on the radar screen and MSNBC is dead on its heels.

Anybody who follows journalism closely enough knows that CBS, CNN, etc. only jumps as high as the New York Times and Los Angeles newspaper tells it to. The two biggest liberal newspapers in the nation help determine what you see on the evening news on these networks.

Actually, if you watch the networks with an objective eye (as I do), you'll find that Fox is a llot more balanced in its news coverage than the other networks. They do try and provide both sides of the story, unlike Dan Rather and Co., who bring their own biased agendas into each story.

If you want to get an insider's view of this, I would recommend reading Bernard Goldberg's book, "Bias" -- it provides a very detailed look into the hows and whys of major network news and the bias that is brought into it.

Watch the film "The Network." It was made in 1984 and totally predicted the creation of Fox News. It is the story of a struggling new station who, in order to boost ratings, hires and absoulutly insane news anchor, similar to Chris Matthews or Bill O'Reily. It is brilliant, if I do say so.

Now it appears CBS contacted the Kerry camp on this deal. If that holds true, Kerry's slim chances of winning in November are toast.

It's amazing how low the liberal Big Media has sunk, not only in dirty politics but in the amount of credibility it has lost, especially at CBS.

Seems like CBS stands for "Can't Believe S***"

Now if that is not the kettle calling the kettle black! Are you saying Mickey that you have never been biased one way or the other in your reporting? There is no, none, zippo, reporters that do not tell a story with a slant at some point in their reporting careers. If fact, you study them all closely as you apparently do and you will find that they all have a style and it does in fact have biases! Some are just better at it and do work for those large publications that you detest!

Here is an easy example for you…lets use title IX in wrestling. If you follow your reporting of the issue, there is a strong bias as to how it has killed wrestling programs and took away from other minor men’s sports. You do not cover all of the points that are positive such as providing opportunities for girls and women in athletics, the fact that schools have had to balance their budgets, and provided role models for girls. A good example is Mia Hamm. Nike is putting allot of money behind supporting her retirement. So now in your biased reporting should we all boycott Nike? Should we tell our daughters that they do not deserve the same opportunities as their brothers?
