Rookie Registered: December 19, 2005 Posts: 48 | my prediction is the seattle seahawks. granted that sealers have knocked off the #1 the #2 the #3 and now the #4 team in the AFC. i just think that shaun alexander is a force to be reckoned with. altho the sealers have a very good defence i still think seattle will pull it out. P.S. i am waiting to see if mick jagger has a "wardrobe malfunction" durin halftime... jk if you do what you've always done......you'll get what you've always gotten. |

Junior High Location: omaha Registered: December 24, 2003 Posts: 476 | Looking at their schedule it's easy to see why. I dunno about this one, I really like Seattle plus the points right now because this game 'feels' like a 3 point game. Pittsburgh is playing incredibly well led by the a streaking QB. Well see in a couple weeks. |

World Champion Location: Wayne, America Registered: October 20, 2002 Posts: 5714 | This has the feel of a great game that will go down to the wire. If Seattle is anywhere inside the Pittsburgh 35 with the score tied and time winding down, Josh Brown will get it done, Vinateri style. Last second field goal, split the uprights, mass chaos ensues as Seahawks win Super Bowl XL. Of course...it would be better on my heart if Alexander rushed for 185 yards and four touchdowns and Seattle wrapped it up by the end of the third quarter. But at this point, just getting there is enough for me. I'm looking forward to it... "Energy Flows Where Attention Goes" -- James Arthur Ray |

Rookie Location: Colorado Springs, CO Registered: January 05, 2004 Posts: 160 | Wow...still shaking off the cobwebs from the tail whipping the Steelers laid on the Broncs. Isn't it funny that we have 2 "AFC" teams in the Super Bowl? I'll bet there are some AFC owners that are kicking themselves for not taking the offer to switch leagues (ahem, KC, cough cough). I have to go with the Steelers. Bettis in his home town, in his possibly last game, and Big Ben has been completely out of his mind in the playoffs. Isn't his completion % in the playoffs like 75 or 80%? Besides the Sea gals just look like a bunch of dill pickles running around with those hideous green uni's and those silly flourescent yellow stripes. Pitt 28 - 17. Too much Bus in the 4th quarter for the Seahawks. |
Novice Location: St Paul, Mn Registered: November 14, 2002 Posts: 234 | Seattle may have been the sack leader in the regular season, but only 3 in 2 play-off games.. to the Steelers 9.5. I agree w/ 'dad', between Bettis and Big Ben, there's just so much momentum on the Pitsburg side right now, they'll be tough to beat. |

The last thing you want to do is go into a game where you are already the underdog and tick off the meanest guy on the other side of the ball. Seattle is screwed!!
