Pittsburgh gets in as the AFC rep. Beating #3 and #1 on the road, and thoroughly dominating an Indy offense that runs circles around Denver's, I like the Steelers on the road.

Had the Bears' defense not gone into early hiberation against Carolina, the NFC would have been a no-brainer with Seattle going in. I still like my Seahawks being at home, but this is going to be a dandy NFC title game.

In the big show...I can't go against my Seahwaks, but wouldn't it be nice to see The Bus go into retirement (and, eventually, the HOF) with a ring? Maybe he'll play one more year and get that chance...

Mikey C sez...

AFC -- Pittsburgh 27, Denver 20
NFC -- Seattle 38, Carolina 34
SUPER BOWL XL -- SEAHAWKS 31, STEELERS 21

Remember who told you about the Seahawks first way back in August... clap

I can't complain too much, all 4 teams left should provide a good matchup. I like Pitt the least, so I'm hoping for a Denver W. As for the NFC game...I have no idea, this will be a barnburner. I can't pick a winner yet, but I think the margin will be 4, 24-20, something like that.

Alexander gets knocked out again, Carolinas third string starter has a career game and the panthers win 28-24. The blitzburg defense has a good game, but not as good as last week because shanahan is too smart. Denver wins 27-20. In the super bowl, Carolina KO's Denver-21-20.

Does it really matter who wins an unofficial Super Bowl. (An offical Super Bowl must have the Vikings in it).

if they didnt spend so much time on "cruises", they might actually have a team worth calling professional.

You've had some bad ones in your day but this has to be right up there with the best of 'em.

Only true Destroyer fans will have an inkling as to what you are talking about.

Regardless...

Hey...some fan had a sign in the end zone, so I can't take credit for it.

Although...by golly...I'm a proud Blue Thunder fan who is enjoying watching 30 years of frustration circle the drain.
