Here's one man's view... NFC -- If Philly doesn't win the conference championship here, then they have become this generation's Boston Red Sox as the team that can't seem to get over the hump. Losing Terrell Owens hurts because of the attitude he brought to the team (to say nothing of the talent), but I feel they are the team to beat right now. My picks: Seahawks over Rams, Packers over Vikings, Packers over Falcons, Eagles over Seahawks, Eagles beat Packers to win NFC. AFC -- This is the real Super Bowl matchup here, as the top three teams in the AFC are clearly superior to the best the NFC has to offer. Therein lies the rub -- as tough as this bracket will be, the winner here may end up getting lit up by the NFC champion (unless Seattle somehow wins the NFC...then it will come down to the last play, which will undoubtedly cause me to keel over, win or lose). Between Pittsburgh, New England and Indy, this one is up for grabs. In that case, go with the field position. My picks; San Diego over NY Jets, Indy over Denver, New England over Indy, Pittsburgh over San Diego, Pittsburgh edges New England. SUPER BOWL XXXIX: How about this...the battle of Pennsylvania for the first time in Super Bowl history. A great blue-collar matchup, and I'm going to go with the AFC on this one, although that might be the day Rothliesberger gets his first loss as a starter: Steelers 34, Eagles 27. Darkhorse picks: Seahawks and Indy. If THAT matchup happens along...Peyton Manning goes nuts and shatters Super Bowl passing records. Count on it... <Guest> | i think that if the eagles get every body back for the conference Championship nobody will beat them. |

As their reward, they will go to Philly next weekend and promptly have their beaks handed to them by the Beagles...but at least the Scams will be out of the playoffs. BWWWAAHAHAHA (just kidding, Kman... ) The Viqueens can't win on the road OR outdoors, so the Cheddar Boys will take that one. Indy will light up Denver and two tough road games in a row will be too much for the J-E-T-S. Do you get the feeling this weekend is like listening to a real crappy opening act before the guys you shelled out $250 for tickets to the concert of the year come out to perform??? Score predictions: NFC Seahags 34, Scams 32 Cheeseheads 41, Viqueens 21 AFC Ponies 42, Fillies 17 Yeller Bolts 31, Gliders 21 "Energy Flows Where Attention Goes" -- James Arthur Ray |

I agree the NFC is weak...but you might as well use that money you're putting on the Viqueens to start a fire with...it'll burn just as fast. Real Super Bowl is in the AFC this year. Ah well...life does go on. "Energy Flows Where Attention Goes" -- James Arthur Ray |
