No, I'm not joking. One good thing for Colorado if Nutt comes...Arkansas had netted one of the top QB recruits in the country, and now he has de-committed. It looks like if Nutt goes to Colorado, the QB goes with him. |

World Champion Registered: August 27, 2002 Posts: 6425 | There's nothing attractive about coaching at Colorado. The facilities are the worst in the Big 12. The small fanbase they have is more interested in the Broncos. And the atmosphere at CU turns off a lot of recruits. |

Junior Varsity Location: Lincoln, Nebraska Registered: January 22, 2003 Posts: 794 | lol And Colorado went after Butch Davis which IMO would be a great hire but they eventually found out they don't have the money to go after ANY of their A list coaches.... lmao this is great |

Oh I know it... Feel just horrible for them... Their budget is so low from covering up anything they could be sanctioned for already.... and then having to buy out Barnetts contracts I think they are going to have to start searching on the Highschool Offensive Coordinator sort |
Junior Varsity Location: Lincoln, Nebraska Registered: January 22, 2003 Posts: 794 | Well it sounds like Colorados going to come out of it with a decent hire anywayz.... Dan Hawkins (for those of you who don't know thats the Boise State Head Coach) He coaches another gimmick offense and has never had a decent defense in his life on his team... IMO this coach has made a living just recruiting the quickest kids he can find regardless of their size... and this had worked great in an extremely slow conference... He's going to have to up the anty in recruiting if he wants to have any success in the Big12 |
