Looks like he has a good shot of joining the Vikings staff in the NFL. Any thoughts, good or bad?

Good for us...Minnesota, not so much.

I dont think cosgrove did such a bad job. You dont coach the team that led the NCAA in sacks and be a bad coach. It just took the defense a while to get psyched up most of the time.

i am not a big coz fan, but I dont think he did a bad job. I just think its a bad deal to have to go through yet another adjustment period!!

Do you do anything besides complain NWI? I can't fathom what would happen if/when Seattle chokes in the playoffs. We'll have to put you on suicide watch.

And "if/when" Seattle chokes in the playoffs, suicide watch is the LAST thing you'll have to worry about with me. My life goes far beyond sports and the sun will still come up the morning after for me. You should try it sometimes...a change will do you good.

Cosgrove to stay

I just hope Cosgrove can figure out how to stop the run between now and next fall, something that was an ongoing problem with this year's team.

Well we all can't be perfect I suppose.....I'm sure the defense will improve from next year. I think some people won't be happy unless we have a defense like the 95 Huskers every year. Is that possible? I highly doubt it. I'm sure they will improve from last year.

The 95 defense was a special one...don't think there's been one that good since.

We could always hope, though...couldn't we???

Contemplating the nature of man eh? I guess your not as busy as I thought. My response was due to the fact that since the new coaching staff has been brought in, you've had nothing but underhanded, snide comments. Your frustration with SP is well documented. Your not actually suggesting we still should have, "Frank the Tank" as our coach do you? *Shudders...* anyways, cheers to you as always. Here's hoping the NFC West doesn't screw the pooch.

My daughter was born a week later.

I am glad he's staying. Not because I think he's the answer but because the kids seem to really play hard for the guy. I don't like some of his gameplans but when you lose two starting linebackers and have a starting cornerback with a bad hamstring all season, you get some slack from me. As long as he stays out of the players way, they could put a frightening defense on the field next year.

I'm SOOOOOOOO glad he's staying, he's obviously a great coach... And not only do the kids love him, He showed us this year he knows how to coach and did a good job...
