Novice Registered: September 13, 2004 Posts: 259 | I can bet alot of class "C" teams are tickled to death that Aquinas has been moved to "D". The perenial class "D" powers better watch out! |

Junior Varsity Registered: October 22, 2002 Posts: 656 | Here is a possible look at the districts. I thought I heard one time they work from the west, so I left the D-1 district as the one with only 18 schools. D-1 Aquinas Cross County Dorchester East Butler Freeman Friend Heartland High Plains Community Kenesaw McCool Junction Meridian Nebraska Christian Osceola Palmyra Shelton Sutton Thayer Central Weeping Water D-2 Archbishop Bergan Cedar Rapids Clearwater-Elgin Elkhorn Valley Fullerton Greeley-Wolbach Howells Humphrey St. Francis Lindsay Holy Family Newman Grove Osmond Palmer Pender Ponca Pope John Rock County Scribner-Snyder Stanton Winside D-3 Alma Amherst Anselmo-Merna Ansley/Arcadia Arapahoe Axtell Bertrand Callaway Cambridge Elm Creek Elwood Eustis-Farnam Franklin Loomis Loup City Overton Pleasanton Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Wilcox-Hildreth D-4 Arnold Banner County Crawford Dundy County Garden County Hay Springs Hemingford Hitchcock County Hyannis Maxwell Minatare Medicine Valley/Maywood Mullen North Platte St. Patrick's Sandhills (Thedford) Sioux County Southwest Sutherland Wauneta-Palisade |
Junior Varsity Registered: October 22, 2002 Posts: 656 | Just for the heck of it tried to figure out Class C as well. C-1 Arlington Bennington Bishop Neumann Conestoga Fort Calhoun HTRS/Pawnee City Lincoln Christian Louisville Malcolm North Bend Central Oakland-Craig Raymond Central Southern Syracuse Tecumseh Tri County C-2 Battle Creek Creighton Crofton Hartington Cedar Catholic Laurel-Concord/Coleridge Lutheran High Northeast Madison Neligh-Oakdale Norfolk Catholic Plainview Randolph Tekamah-Herman Wakefield West Point-Beemer West Point Central Catholic Wisner-Pilger C-3 Bruning-Davenport/Deshler Centennial Central City Centura David City Doniphan-Trumbull Fillmore Central Grand Island Central Catholic Harvard/Clay Center Hastings St. Cecilia Milford Minden Red Cloud/Blue Hill St. Paul Wilber-Clatonia Wood River C-4 Ainsworth Bayard Bridgeport Chase County Gibbon Hershey Kearney Catholic Kimball Mitchell Morrill Ord Perkins County Ravenna Sargent/Burwell Southern Valley West Holt |
Rookie Registered: October 21, 2002 Posts: 194 | would Oakland-Craig from c-1 to C-2 and Tekamah-Herman from c-2 to C-1 make sence? |
Junior Varsity Registered: October 22, 2002 Posts: 656 | Yes, but I was trying to think back to my 8th grade year and I think that year Tekamah-Herman was in the C-2 district with Aquinas, but I do not remember Oakland-Craig being there. They are right by each other, so it is one of those either way things. |

Rookie Location: bellevue Registered: September 16, 2005 Posts: 73 | B is good but not better than A i think <a href="http://www.tvdance.com/fun-blog-tools/"><img src="http://www.tvdance.net/images/images_one/happygilmore_3.gif" border="0"></a> |
Varsity Letterman Registered: October 19, 2002 Posts: 856 | Aquinas class D.....Darn! |
State Champion Registered: December 11, 2002 Posts: 1493 | It is obvious to anyone that knows wrestling that B is the toughest class in nebraska. This isn't a knock on any other class it is just the simple facts. From top to bottom B is the toughest, just the way it is. A has more studs but B is by far the toughest class. We have the most schools which in turn means more competition. I am not trying to get into a which class is the toughest discussion here but this is just the way it is and I am willing to bet that 80 percent of the people on this site will agree with me. Rookie Registered: January 21, 2004 Posts: 70 | I'm guessing the newcomers in class D...Thayer Central and Aquinas will be the top contenders for the crown |
Rookie Location: Winside NE.USA Registered: April 10, 2003 Posts: 23 | Just because the newcomers are comeing "down" to D don't make them instant favorites D.C. is one of the top teams but not in front of Howells and Amherst sorry T.C.two or three studs won't win D |
Rookie Registered: January 21, 2004 Posts: 70 | we'll c about that Shodan at the mid of Feburary.. who's holding up the class D state championship. |
Rookie Location: hebron,ne,usa Registered: November 11, 2003 Posts: 102 | Dear Shodan- Thayer Central has one of the best sophmore classes in class D and with coach Desmond gettin them ready i gaurntee U that Thayer Central will be up there. And I dont think Amherst can compete with T.C. the only team i see that is as good as T.C. is David City Aquinas Moses |
Rookie Registered: September 20, 2005 Posts: 4 | Thayer Central has to be the worst team in class d. Since degenhardt left they lost their whole team. |
Rookie Registered: January 21, 2004 Posts: 70 | Rick_James, know your facts before u speak...Idiot |
Rookie Location: Hebron, NE Registered: December 18, 2002 Posts: 106 | Ringworm is Joey Koch, stop posting as me Joey you know I wouldn't refer to myself as Jon anyway. As for Rick_James I'm not gonna say Thayer Central is a title contender. However, last i checked they had more state placers than just degenhardt last year, including a returning champion. The team should easily have 2 finalists and a few other team contributors. I mean come'on people we all know Joey Koch will decide which weight class is easiest by winter break, and will from there on either diet or eat up to make that weights' standards. By the way Mr. James i do give you props for the name, nice. -Remember the Titans, baby- |

And anthony dont be dodgin Daro like you have been talkin bout this whole year only bc he has gave u 2 woodshed beatings last year. And Koch has never dodged anyone. So get ur facts straight. Go TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!This message has been edited. Last edited by: Red Rocker, Moses |
