Rookie Registered: December 06, 2005 Posts: 94 | The website huskerlocker.com reports that his mother died Friday. If so, that really sucks. |

Rookie Registered: December 06, 2005 Posts: 94 | Also, Nebraska looked pretty crappy today. Even Burroughs looked a little subdued (if that's possible for him) VJ got super lucky, the ISU guy tried to do something that stopped working for most people in Jr. High |

Unfortunately, some of the Huskers wrestled as if a family member had passed away. It was tough enough having to wrestle from behind like they had to. Hopefully this is the spark that lights the fire to a good finish for the Huskers. They are capable of great things, have home-mat advantage for the Big 12's and could do very well at nationals. I disagree I thought Burroughs and Jones both looked very good in their matches. Jones is a pinner and took advantage of a small mistake while Burroughs dominated a tough Sanderson at 157. Dyer lost by making a mental mistake in the last 20 seconds of his match. |
